Golden Delicious

New for 2005 is this exclusive My Little Pony Butterfly Island collection. Hasbro launched the range after the high success of their previous My Little Pony Range 'Friendship Ball'. In this collection the ponies are trekking out of their town Ponyville to discover the hidden mysteries across the ocean at Butterfly Island. Golden Delicious and her fellow 'Seaside ponies'; Skywishes, Cherry Blossom, Wysteria and Bumblesweet are all heading to the beach to make the most of the sun, sea and sand; building sand castles and spending quality time with one another. There are loads of other characters in the collection too; the 'Dazzle Bright Ponies', 'Sunny Scent Ponies', 'Shimmer Ponies' and 'Scootin' Along Ponies' are all heading off on the adventure together. There are also larger toys and play sets to accompany the ponies such as the 'Rainbow Wishes Amusement Park'. This is sure to be one summer the ponies will remember forever!

Seaside Golden Delicious is a white pony with pale pink and yellow streaks in her mane and tail. In her tail she wears three colourful beads (pink, green and orange) to add interest to the hair. She has pretty pale green eyes and wears green eyeliner, in her pupils is a large white dot (a twinkle) and a small pink heart; she also has a small pink heart on the outside of her front left ankle. Golden Delicious faces forward unlike many of the other ponies who have their heads titled to one side, her front right leg is slightly raised bending at the knee like the traditional pony positions.

In Box

Golden Delicious wears a cute pink dress with blue, white, green and yellow flowery decoration all over; the bottom part is just like a skirt and has an elastic waistband so you can change her easily. The top section of the dress goes under her stomach and around her neck fastening with Velcro (like a halter-neck). Her symbol is of a pink heart with a piece of yellow fruit inside. Also included with the pony is a red and yellow flower bow for her hair. A turtle character accompanies Golden Delicious on her adventure to Butterfly Island, he is purple and green with orange hearts on his shell and he rides on her back!
