[edit] Bratz Sportz Overview[edit] Sportz Waves The Bratz Dolls prove they can always look fantastic even when working up a sweat playing their favourite sportz. This cute sporting theme is a must have by all and has a number of characters and costumes to collect. There have been a few waves released under the sports theme therefore there are more dolls than in a usual Bratz collection. So far we have seen Cloe (twice), Yasmin (twice), Sasha and Jade; the four original Bratz dolls who have also appeared together in 'Bratz Rock Angelz' and 'Bratz Step Out'. Dana who we have recently seen in 'Wild Wild West' and 'Bratz Ooh La La', Phoebe from the 'Birthday Bash' collection, Meygan (Bratz Step Out), Fianna (Bratz Wild Wild West), Roxxi (Bratz Rock Angelz) and Nevra, a rare character. The girls look great in their funky outfits and are sure to be the centre of attention wherever they play! [edit] Characters History   The first wave of the 'Bratz Sportz' collection included four dolls, Cloe, Yasmin, Meygan and Sasha and each girl has a unique outfit to match the sport she is playing. Cloe wears a gorgeous golf outfit ready for the golf course, Yasmin is the soccer star, Meygan plays pro bowling and Sasha is a rockin' cheerleader. Each doll comes with some cool accessories to accompany the sport they are playing to make playing with the dolls a more realistic experience. The second wave known as 'Bratz Play Sportz' also included four characters, Fianna, Dana, Roxxi and Cloe. Again each doll plays a different sport and wears a gorgeous outfit to suit her preferred activity. Fianna is the tennis star and has a really cute tennis costume with realistic accessories like a tennis racket and visor, Dana plays basketball and looks fab on the court, Roxxi is the karate professional and Cloe is our screamin' cheerleader! The newest wave of the Sportz range launched towards the end of 2005 is also known as 'Bratz Play Sportz' and has some superb new characters and outfits. This collection consists of Phoebe who plays softball, Yasmin (also appeared in the 'Sportz' range) who looks absolutely stunning in her gymnastics theme, Nevra the surfing babe and Jade the volleyball star. Like the previous lines, these chicks have some lovely accessories to accompany their outfits and will bring hours of entertainment to children all over the world. [edit] Sporty OutfitsFrom the 'Sportz' range Cloe wears a cute black and yellow golf outfit with her usual long blond hair that has tiny plaits scattered around. She has a black and white golf bag to accompany her. Cheerleader Sasha wears a tiny black top, short turquoise skirt, black three-quarter leggings and comes with trendy pompoms; she wears her hair in pigtails to really get into character! Meygan the pro bowler wears a cute red tartan skirt and a pink bowling shirt with black collar and sleeves, she wears little pink shoes and even comes with a bowling ball so she can practice. The soccer star Yasmin has long golden brown hair tied back in four small plaits to keep it out of her face. She wears a short orange skirt, black top, long white socks and trainers. She has a soccer ball and sports bag to accompany her. From the earlier 'Bratz Play Sportz' collection, Fianna (tennis) has beautiful long golden hair tied back into a ponytail and wears a white pleated skirt, white visor and white trainers. She has a stripy tennis top and comes with loads of tennis accessories such as a sports bas and set of tennis balls. Cloe (cheerleading) has long blond hair with tiny plaits at the front, she wears a black and turquoise pleated skirt, black studded top and black trainers. Dana (basketball) wears a trendy green basketball top and matching hot pants, high wedged trainers and long white socks. She comes with a basketball to practice! Roxxi (Karate) looks stunning in this collection with her long plaited pigtails and Chinese style outfit; she wears knee-length turquoise trousers and a red silky top. The newest 'Bratz Play Sportz' collection consists of Yasmin (gymnastics), who has her usual brown hair tied back into a high ponytail, she wears a lovely pink, blue and white gym outfit and comes with a long ribbon to practice her skills! Nevra (surfing) looks super cool in her beachwear and sunglasses; she comes with a surfboard and red hat to shade her from the sun. Phoebe(softball) wears a pink and black outfit with long sock and cute trainers. A bat and ball, trophy and sun visor accompany her. Jade (volleyball) comes dressed in purple and white hot pants with matching sports top and purple and black stripy socks and trainers.
