Rock Angelz Theme and Product Description

The Bratz Rock Angelz Funky Fashion Makeover Doll is a genius invention that allows children to focus on the hair and make-up of the doll rather than the clothing. Doll makeover heads have been around for decades and it is clear that these previous models and newer ones such as the 'Disney Princess' range inspired the Bratz product. However, unlike earlier products the Funky Fashion Makeover Doll includes the dolls torso and waist enabling the manufacturers to include accessories such as a belt to give them a trendier appearance. In this Rock Angelz collection the girls all have low neck, short sleeved white t-shirts but they each have a different look and different hair. This range includes Cloe, Sasha, Jade, Yasmin and Roxxi, all of who are in the Bratz Rock Angelz band. Makeover heads are ideal for children 6 years +.

The dolls are quite big; measuring roughly 16 inches in height, therefore you have lots of hair to play with and a lifelike size face to makeover. The products were launched during 2005 and have proven extremely popular in both the US and the UK especially around the Christmas period. Another Bratz range that includes the Funky Fashion Makeover Doll is 'Bratz Ooh La La', also launched in 2005.

Characters and their Appearance

All five dolls are roughly 16 inches in height and have reasonable sized faces for experimenting with make-up. They all have extremely long hair that reaches the black shiny star they sit on and they are positioned with their hands on their hips.

Cloe - This rock angel is the only member of the group with blonde hair but she has a brown colour underneath to tone it down. She has wide bright blue eyes and extremely long eyelashes with pink and grey make-up to show off her features, she wears a light peach lipstick with pink lip liner on her full, luscious lips. Cloe has a red studded belt and silver buckle over her jeans.

Sasha - The small fashion doll of Sasha has small plaits running through her hair, which makes it a little harder to style. However the Funky Fashion Makeover Doll comes without the plaits, just her thick, long golden hair which makes it much easier to play with. She has cherry coloured lips, dark skin and powerful dark green eyes. Sasha wears a black studded belt with red crosses as decoration.

Jade - In this collection Jade has very dark hair, almost black with scattered blonde/silver highlights running all the way through. She has large light brown eyes that glimmer under the light and wears brown eye shadow and black eye liner. This is complimented by her extra long eyelashes that appear to curl naturally. She has light peach lips and wears a bright pink lip liner, a black studded belt with silver buckle sits around her waist.

Roxxi - This Rock Angelz chick has dark brown hair with both black and red streaks running through. The red is mainly towards the front therefore the overall appearance of her hair colour is red rather than brown. She has wide blue eyes and full peach lips accented by a thin lip liner. Roxxi has a dark beauty spot under her left cheek and wears a black studded belt around her waist.

Yasmin - The most capturing feature of this beautiful doll is her stunning bright green eyes. The outer circle is dark green and the inner circle is hazel emphasising the middle pale green colour even more. Her lips are dark pink and appear glossy under a light. Yasmin's hair is brown with chunky blond highlights and comes all the way down to her red studded belt.
