Overview

The Bratz girls are jetting off to Europe to visit the French capital of Paris and they are ready to shop shop shop! This 'Bratz Ooh La La' theme is a gorgeous line of dolls and toys produced by MGA Entertainment under the Bratz brand and have brought hours of fun to kids all over the world. The theme involves three of the Bratz Dolls; Cloe, Dana and Kumi dressing up in cute little French inspired outfits and heading into town to do some serious shopping. Each doll comes with two stunning outfits; one for the daytime and one for the evening and has a unique beret styled hat to compliment her outfit, and also bags for their shopping items. All three dolls have black knee high boots and long black gloves to accompany their evening outfit; these are however painted onto the dolls so cannot be removed but the bottom half of the boot still clips off with the foot. Some cute make-up sets can be bought separately to accompany the three dolls. This collection is definitely a must have by all!

Character History

Cloe ('Angel' is her nickname) has been in majority of the Bratz collections; she is one of the four original Bratz characters along with Yasmin, Sasha and Jade and is therefore well known and very popular. So far she has appeared in 'Bratz Step Out', 'Bratz Rock Angelz', 'Bratz Birthday Bash', 'Bratz Campfire' and many more. Cloe is differentiated from the other characters by her unique bleach blonde hair, pale skin and pale blue eyes, in this 'Ooh La La' theme she compliments the appearances of her fellow shopping partners Kumi and Dana who have darker hair and darker skin. It is often said that she looks a prettier doll when her hair is toned down with some brown lowlights (like in 'Bratz Birthday Bash') because her hair is so blonde!

Dana (also known as 'Sugar Shoes') is the second of our Paris Princesses and looks stunning in her cute costume and chequered beret. Dana has been featured in a few Bratz collections now but obviously not nearly as many as Cloe, and is planned to appear in future lines. We have previously seen her in 'Bratz Play Sportz' where she was the Basketball star and she has recently appeared in 'Bratz Wild Wild West' and 'Bratz Campfire'. Unlike most other characters, Dana's appearance has changed slightly for each range; it is therefore sometimes harder to recognise her when she's placed amongst others. Kumi is a rare character in the Bratz world, this is really the first time we have seen her but she is planned to star in future editions. She has two gorgeous outfits and looks great with Cloe and dana.

Paris Fashions

Cloe has long thick blond hair, blue eyes and dark lips and wears a yellow and black beret styled hat on her head. During the day she wears a short brown skirt, blue t-shirt and red jacket and has a cute leather clutch bag. Her evening outfit is navy blue knee-length dress with netted decoration and black fluffy shrug. Dana has long crimped hair dark underneath and lighter on top, soft blue/purple eyes and dark lips. Her shopping ensemble consists of a short pink silky skirt, beret bat and red cardigan top. For the evening she wears a black halter neck dress and pink fluffy shrug. She has a really cute red silky handbag.

Kumi has beautiful wide brown eyes and soft pink lips, her hair is very dark with chunky red streaks running through. Her first outfit consists of a short tweed skirt with budded belt, an 'I Love Paris' t-shirt and a purple suede jacket. She also has a navy blue flowery hat to match her outfit. Her evening outfit is a short pink silky dress with a layered netted skirt area and a purple fluffy shrug. All three dolls have different colour fluffy shrugs that secure with a small piece of Velcro. They also have black knee-high boots and long black gloves painted on to their arms and legs that can be seen when the dolls are wearing their evening outfits but not their daytime ones.
