Yasmin, Sasha and Phoebe

The Bratz Dolls are out on the town and have dressed to impress for their late night venue that is sure to be a night to remember. This 'Birthday Bash' collection (also known as 'Bratz Party' in the UK) features four of the Bratz dolls; Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha and Phoebe and they have certainly done their fashion homework as they emerge in the trendiest new styles and gorgeous detailed outfits. The girls are attending the hottest party of the year therefore it is essential they steal the dance floor and show off their unique style which shouldn't be a problem for these girls! Each girl is dressed in an exclusive 'Birthday Bash' outfit that consists of a short-netted skirt, party top, three-quarter length leggings and high-heeled shoes. When placed together the outfits look stunning and the dolls compliment each other well but don't worry, they haven't forgotten about the birthday girl; each doll comes with a gift and gift bag for her. The dolls each have a pair of high shoes that clip on and off with their feet, the heels are a little bit bendy therefore sometimes the dolls are hard to stand up.

The 'Bratz Birthday Bash' collection is one of many popular lines released by MGA Entertainment under the brand 'Bratz' and certainly isn't the last. The theme follows a number of successful collections and characters that bring hours of entertainment to children all over the world. The dolls in this collection have appeared in a number of lines and are popular Bratz characters in both manufacturing and sales. Cloe, Yasmin and Sasha were three of the original Bratz characters therefore its no wonder they are such popular characters. Cloe has recently appeared in 'Bratz Campfire' ('Bratz Winter Adventure' in the UK), 'Bratz Rock Angelz' and 'Bratz Step Out' - another party based theme. She is probably the most well known character in the world of Bratz and appears in the most collections. She is planned to arrive in a number of upcoming themes for 2006 like 'Bratz Feelin' Pretty', 'Bratz Genie Magic' and 'Bratz Princess'.

Yasmin is also a popular character and has appeared in majority of themes launched by MGA Entertainment but not quite as many as Cloe. We have recently seen her in 'Bratz Wild Wild West', 'Bratz Treasures' and she is one of the 'Bratz Rock Angelz Dolls'. She is also set to appear in the same upcoming collections as mentioned with Cloe. Sasha is a popular doll but doesn't tend to appear in as many collections as Yasmin and Cloe; she is however included in more lines than the fourth original doll - Jade. We have recently seen her in 'Bratz Step Out' and 'Bratz Rock Angelz'. The last character in this 'Birthday Bash' theme Phoebe is slightly more rare than the other three dolls. She has been included in the recent collection 'Bratz Campfire' and is most well known alongside her twin sister Roxxi in the 'Bratz Twiins' lines.

Looks, Hair and Outfits

The girls in this theme wear similar styled outfits but they look completely different due to their fabric colours, hair colour and make-up. 'Birthday Bash' Cloe has her normal long blond hair that differentiates her from the other Bratz characters. In this collection her hair has been toned down with some light brown streaks and it makes her look much prettier and more natural. Her outfit is extremely funky, pink and black being her predominant colours and she has some lovely detailed areas such as the studs on her top and her cute pink belt. Sasha has beautiful long dark hair with a thin fringe and dark skin. Like Cloe, she maintains the same appearance in majority of themes to allow children to recognise her and remember her character. She wears a lilac and black outfit with glittery areas and is the only doll in this group to have a silky top layer on her skirt.

Phoebe has long black hair that is extremely thick compared to the other dolls and it has a wavy texture. Her predominant colours are black and silver and she wears a cute little bow around her waist. Phoebe isn't as well known as the other three girls and her appearance tends to change slightly from theme to theme; these changes are however only small such as hair shape, colour and length. Yasmin has long dark hair with a blond section at the front around her face, her hair is quite thick and flicks out at the bottom to add shape and volume. Like Sasha, Yasmin's outfit colours are black and lilac, however the styles of the garments are very different and Yasmin wears a slightly darker purple shade. Each doll has a gift bag for the birthday girl that of course matches their party outfit!
