Overview

Since the launch of the well known Bratz Dolls in 2001, MGA Entertainment has continued to create highly successful children's dolls and toys. A number of Bratz spin-offs such as Lil Bratz, Bratz Big Babyz, Bratz Babyz, Big Bratz Babyz Ponyz, Itsy Bitsy Bratz and Bratz Petz have also hit the toy stores and have kept millions of children entertained all over the world. Shortly after the success of the Bratz Babyz, we were introduced to the Bratz Babyz Ponyz, a cute range of unique characters known as 'the ponyz with a passion for fashion'. The products are similar to the My Little Pony ponies however these ponyz are much trendier and have funky hair styles, Bratz styled eyes and much smaller bodies. Also their hair is quite different from My Little Ponies; each character has a section of hair combed in front of their ear to create a long side fringe and the hair is soft and straight unlike the frizzy looks of the My Little Pony ponies. Each Bratz Babyz pony is positioned in a cute pose and has a unique body and hair colour. They are made from a shimmery plastic and their heads swivel round 360 degrees! Each pony comes with a personalised saddle bag, cute hairbrush and two colourful hairclips.

Bratz Babyz Ponyz Original Characters

The ponyz were created to go with the Bratz Babyz dolls; they are the correct height and size for the Babyz and each doll can have their own pony. The Bratz Big Babyz also have their own ponyz which are exactly the same as the Babyz Ponyz but twice the size and twice as expensive! There are eight characters in the original Bratz Babyz Ponyz collection (listed below), a toy buggy and two play sets.

• Bonita – This little pony is a tan colour with three colour shades in her hair; dark brown, gold and light green. Her eyes are also green and she has a small beauty spot under her left eye. Bonita sits in a seated position with her front right leg raised.

• Celeste – A white pony with pink and white streaks in her hair. She has pretty brown eyes, long eyelashes and a pink nose. Celeste has gold hooves and is positioned standing up with her front left leg kicked forward.

• Sashay – A cute black pony with pale blue easy, a pink nose and silver hooves. Her hair is black with streaks of electric blue and silver and she stands up fully with three hooves touching the ground and one slightly raised.

• Pursia – This little character has a brown/pink face and neck and mainly a white body. She has pretty dark brown hair with thin streaks of silver scattered around, dark eyes and gold hooves. Like Siren, Pursia stands on all fours.

• Maise – A two tone bright pink and pale pink bodied pony with bright pink and cream streaks in her hair. She has pretty pale blue eyes, a pink nose and purple hooves. Like Bonita she has a beauty spot under her left eye and is positioned in a seated pose with her front right leg raised.

• Freesia – A two tone bright and pale purple pony with cream and light purple streaks in her hair. She has dark brown eyes, purple hooves and like Celeste, stands on all fours with her front left leg kicked forward.

• Siren – A turquoise and white bodied character with cream coloured hair that has turquoise streaks running through. She has dark brown eyes, golden hooves and stands on all fours.

• Bijou – This pony has a pale blue and electric blue two tone body with electric blue streaks running through her creamy golden hair. Her eyes are pale green, she has gold hooves and like Sashay stands upright on three legs with one slightly raised.

Bratz Big Babyz Ponyz Characters

The Bratz Big Babyz Ponyz are about twice the size of the Babyz Ponyz so the Big Babyz can play with them. There are currently four Big Ponyz in the collection, these are:

• Celeste
• Bonita
• Sashay
• Pursia

The appearance, skin colour, hair colour and pose of each pony is exactly the same as the Bratz Babyz Ponyz range described above.
