Barbie as Dance with Me GenevieveFrom ToyReview[edit] Barbie In The 12 Dancing PrincessesThe fairytale DVD, Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, stars Barbie as a beautiful princess called Genevieve who loves to dance. With her 11 sisters she finds the magic land where any wish is granted – the DVD is an enchanting story with a happy ending. The Barbie Princess Genevieve Doll is interactive and is able to dance in three different ways. [edit] Genevieve's Appearance and FeaturesBarbie is as beautiful as ever in this Princess Genevieve role – her long golden hair falls down her back in gorgeous ringlets and is tied up at the front under her crown. She wears her subtle coloured make-up, which as always, makes her look sweet and naturally pretty. She smiles, showing off her perfect teeth and her neck is decorated with a necklace. Her dress is stunning – the top half is silver/white and shaped like a corset around her slim figure. There are pink detailed designs across the front of it and the long sleeves are transparent and puffed up, giving her a majestic look. The skirt is pink and flows outward like a tutu, sparkling with silver glitter. Her long legs are hidden mostly by her dress, but she wears gold ballet shoes on her feet and points them like a ballerina. The doll is held up on a pink stand with a pink jewel base. She is able to dance in three different ways, two of which are interactive – she comes with special bracelets and a shoe accessory to enable this to happen. She can dance to music, teach you dance steps by using speech prompts and even copy your dancing moves! [edit] Genevieve's Accessories

Rating: ![]() My daughter unwrapped her Princess Genevieve this morning, her 7th birthday, to find that the so called interactive part of her Barbie was incredibly disappointing. The arms only move vertically, only 1 leg moves and the lag between when my daughter moves and then the doll, is so long that it is pointless. Strong electronic whirring sound constantly heard over the top of low quality music. Right arm sticks and just clicks repeatedly before making any move and according to the instructions, this is supposed to be normal!! After begging me for this doll for 6 months, her birthday is off to a disappointing start.
