[edit] Collection Theme Crystal is one of the characters from the fairytale movie Barbie Fairytopia; she lives in the sparkly Jewel Peaks with Jewelia. Barbie Fairytopia is a magical movie about flowers, fairies and magical adventures. Elina (Barbie) is the main character and has to save Fairytopia from evil Laverna. Elina is a wingless fairy and has always longed for wings, so when Laverna tries to tempt Elina with her very own wings, Elina has to decide whether she takes the wings or saves her home. When she decides to act selflessly and save her home, the Enchantress (ruler of Fairytopia) rewards her with her very own magnificent wings anyway. During her adventures, Elina meets a host of new friends, including Crystal and Jewelia. Barbie Fairytopia is a great theme and the movie teaches children how selflessness can lead to great things. The Crystal doll is beautiful, sparkly and pink - her see-through body even glows when a little button is pressed on her back! She comes with two tops and two skirts that 'snap-on' her body and she has some fantastic sparkling wings. [edit] Crystal's Appearance  Crystal has long, curly blonde hair that has streaks of pink and purple running through it. It is styled in a side parting and small plaits run down either side of her face. The style is really funky and compliments her make-up. Crystal has purple eyes and wears purple and pink glittery eye shadow to make them sparkle. She has long eyelashes that are separated with a coating of black mascara and she completes the look with some black eyeliner. She has a cute little butterfly drawn on her right cheek and wears a touch of blusher to make her cheeks glow. She wears pink sparkly lipstick on her lips, which are slightly open to show off her white teeth. Crystal's hair and make-up looks amazing and she looks like a magical fairy that will help Elina on her adventures.  Crystal has a see through body that glows when the light on her back is pressed. Everything apart from her face and chest glows and silver glitter covers her body to add to the effect. The doll comes with batteries included, but these will need to be replaced with 3 AG13 batteries when the light dims or flickers. Crystal has some fantastic wings that attach to her back. They can be easily taken off and put on and come covered with pink and gold glitter. The outfit she wears is unique - the items 'snap-on' her body. The first outfit is a pink mini top and a glittery pink matching skirt. The top has a huge purple butterfly on the skirt has a beautiful sparkling belt. In this collection Crystal has two outfits, and the second is an orange mini top and matching skirt. The shoes she wears are more for decoration that actual shoes; they too snap-on her feet and look like vines creeping up her legs. Overall, Crystal is an extremely beautiful doll, covered so much in glitter that she sparkles! She's a great character in the Barbie Fairytopia theme.
