Baby Born with Magic EyesFrom ToyReviewThe new Baby Born doll is set to be one of the most popular Christmas toys of this year. She has been placed high in the rankings amongst other toys such as Bratz Forever Diamondz and Let's Dance Barbie and even appears on the Toy Retailer Associations list of 'Dream Toys 2006'. It's not surprising when you see what this little doll can actually do. Her movements and advanced features are now top quality and up there with dolls like Baby Annabell. [edit] FunctionsBaby Born has nine realistic functions that make her look and act like a real baby; she can eat her doll food, drink water from her bottle, go to the toilet in her potty, make facial movements and make sounds depending on her mood. She can also move her arms and legs and doesn’t require batteries so you are able to play with her in the water as well. She is called Baby Born with magic eyes because she can open and close her eyes with the magic pacifier. Although she has all these technical functions Baby Born is still a baby doll that loves to be kissed and cuddled and paid lots of attention. She still loves to be taken out for walks in the pram and wrapped up in a blanket. The functions she has just makes the whole learning experience of looking after a baby that little more real. Baby Born is suitable for all children over the age of three and would make a fantastic Christmas present this year. Also available is African American Baby Born with Magic Eyes. [edit] What's Included
All documents are beautifully illustrated with the Baby Born logo and characters. The set can be bought for as little as $39.99 at Amazon.

Rating: ![]() With this description above I am yet to discover how half of these functions exist. So far, yes the dummy opens/closes the eyes. The arms and legs do move - with assistance. I have not seen any facial movement whatsoever. The only sound that appears possible is if her left arm is squeezed, it squeeks like a dog toy. So far ours has had 2 bottles of water and the tears do not operate when her right arm is squeezed. We bought it for $59 - I have seen it for sale for $99! Had it been $39, I would not see as an overated toy that once again you are just paying for the name. Comment by Briana, Sunday 1st February 2009
Rating: ![]() I am getting this baby doll. I think it looks very cute. I have read lots of reviews about the doll. I hope the price is what it's worth. I have a whole list of things I am going to get for it. These reviews heplped me be less worried about the doll a little bit. I hope the people that have this doll like it, and I hope the people that are going to get it like it too. Thank you for helping me be less nervous!! LOL!!! Rating: ![]() I'm really tempted to buy this Baby Born doll for my little sister as she's desperate to have one and i think the 9 functions and the equipment included is great but have now got concerns in thinking that if it doesn't have batteries then can you still switch it off or will it be like sharing the house with a real baby. Slightly put off but not completely as i think this is a much improved doll Comment by hayley, Saturday 30th August 2008
Rating: ![]() She was a really fun doll for my daugther, Ashley and she loved her. I'd give it 4 stars. Comment by Rebekah, Monday 3rd December 2007
Rating: ![]() I don't normally review items I don't already have, but this is differant. I have the version of Baby Born that came right before this one. It's difficult to feed her, and ever since my little sister used real food with her, she can't eat or drink. It all comes out her mouth. I'm guessing that with an extra feature involving her mouth (the magic pacifier), it'd be harder to feed her. The food must be hard. Based on the picture, I can tell it's harder to feed this doll than it is to feed mine, but the water sounds like it'll work fine. The picture looks like it'll work fine with a bottle of water. Just don't feed her real food. Yes, I don't have this doll yet, but I plan to get her. The eye blinking feature sounds good. I don't know how they do all this with no batteries! That's so cool! It also boosts kids' imaginations because the doll doesn't lead them in the play. The child leads the baby durring play. Right down to the crying, the child chooses everything...except when the baby wets! LOL Comment by massart, Monday 16th July 2007
