Make images into links
You will notice on the Toy Review that there are sometimes thumbnail images that link to other pages of the site. These are a little more difficult to do but you can have a go if you like, please ensure your image is uploaded before continuing.
- On the page where you wish to display the image link, click on the 6th button on the toolbar. will appear in the textarea below (shown by the black arrow).
- Change the word 'Example' to the name of your image (you need to name this the same as you named it when it was uploaded eg. goes-hollywood-barbie.jpg).
- Insert a pipe and type the size you want the thumbnail link to be eg. - this will create an image 80px wide. Click save.
- Right click on your image and select properties, copy the long piece of text next to where it says 'Address (URL)' which should look something like this: http://www.thetoyreview.com/images/goes-hollywood-madison-thumb80px.jpg. Then close the pop-up box.
- Paste the piece of text onto the page above where you have written then delete from the page.
- You now need to insert another piece of code around the text you have just pasted, like so:
- Press save and see if your image has worked.
