The popular Baby Born doll has been around for a very long time but the doll’s recommended age group is usually over the age of 3 years. Well now there’s a ‘My Little Baby Born’ – Baby Born’s little sister who can be looked after and played with by a younger audience of 1 year and above. My Little Baby Born has a soft body but is still able to go in the bath so I think she is a great idea for younger children.

She is available at Amazon.co.uk for as little as £9.74 but she is currently only available at Amazon.com from a seller at $49.99 which is rather expensive.

The popular Barbie holiday doll is currently selling for just $19.99 at Amazon reduced from $49.99 – that’s a 60% cut. The doll was designed by Bob Mackie who is also well known for his previous Barbie models such as Goddess of the Moon Barbie, Le Papillon Barbie and Barbie The Charleston Celebration of Dance Porcelain Collection. The dolls have been extremely successful and get better and better each time a new one is released.

Holiday Barbie wears a stunning black gown with white fur around the base of the skirt and around the shoulders. The dress is beautifully embroidered with a gold and silver swirling pattern with bursts of colourful stars scattered around. Bratz Fashion Pixies is now out on DVD but what’s even more exciting is the collection of dolls they have launched alongside. Three of the original dolls Cloe, Yasmin and Jade are all fashion pixies and joining them are three new characters; Breeana, Lina and Dee. All the girls look really pretty and all have sparkly clothing with butterflies being the main decoration.

A coloured hairbrush, magical wand, set of detachable wings and a small pixie friend are also included with each toy. One black and one white unicorn can also be purchased in the Fashion Pixies collection; each one has wings to match their Bratz friends. The toy is currently selling for just $16.50 on the US site and £14.99 on the UK site. What a bargain! Considering this is one of the most popular toys this Christmas I’d get in quick in case the price goes back up.

Bratz Pampered Pupz

The all new Pampered Pupz are now available from Bratz. There are four girls in the collection each with their own little puppy; Cloe, Sasha, Yasmin and their new bestest friend Charli are all strutting their stuff with their perfect little pupz by their sides.

This is the first collection of Bratz that puppies have been introduced, aside from the Bratz Petz collection of course. You can also adopt your own puppy by logging onto the Bratz Website.

Each girl wears a pair of cropped jeans and a fashion top and has their own lead for the puppy. The best thing about this cute collection is the introduction of new Bratz gal Charli, she is yet another beautiful character and will hopefully be a member of the Bratz Pack for quite some time. The new Bratz Pampered Pupz would be a great Christmas gift and as soon as we find an online shop who sells them we’ll post it on here!

According to the Toy Retailers Association, Baby Born with Magic Eyes is one of the most desired toys this Christmas. She was placed in their ‘Dream Toys 2006’ section along with other expected leading toys such as Bratz and Barbie. She is the only baby doll to be positioned in this section.

Baby Born has been developed and now has nine functions that make her appear extremely lifelike. She can eat, drink, go to the toilet, move her arms and legs, make sounds and open and close her eyes. She comes with a range of accessories and will no doubt provide hours of entertainment to young girls all over the world.
